Im so spewin I forgot about the Trance room until 530am and we were ready to go by then..

Also it wouldve been really good to have maps to know where everything was...with all the trillions of ppl everywhere who wanted to go searching...not me

Hi everyone,

As a disclaimer, I work for Digitally Imported.

@tranceaddictandy: thank you for speaking your mind. You actually listened lately before posting, and to you we do our best at being the best of Trance the way we think about it.

@Brett James: we absolutely categorically do not communicate with people in this manner. Nobody told you to "blow goats".

Our Trance channel is the most listened to out of trance radio channels online, and the fact is we have a huge waiting list for shows during the day. Even known enough DJs are waiting for a slot to be opened up.

On top of that many shows are rehashing the same thing, so we look for something unique as well. Your show or mixing may have been superb, but if you've provided a playlist and it wasn't diverse enough from what we already have - that may have been the reason. There's SO MUCH demand for shows, we can't even process it all fast enough.

But I can tell you nobody spoke that way to you. You can forward us any correspondence if the like, but I am sure you have your foot in your mouth here.

And, if I may judge, it's been a correct decision not to deal with you. And it's quite natural for you to bash on Digitally Imported after the fact. You aren't a "listener", but have a biased opinion based on your interaction. Our job at DI is to screen so listeners like Andy don't have to listen to crappy music, or music from people with an inflated ego (at least, we try, this one is hard).

@DJ Contagious:
With regard to "random old tracks, with synths and vocals we've all heard before thousands of times"

Up until a few months ago, that has been correct. It was a formula we liked, as it is dubbed a Trance channel, not necessarily "the latest in Trance". We have a daily schedule unlike any other station, with all new releases and pre-releases. Hardly you can say we don't play the latest. So at other times, we threw in something else that long time listeners usually loved.

BUT, we no longer do that for the most part. If you were to tune in now, a great majority of those old tracks have been pruned, and it's a much more cutting edge channel even outside the scheduled show times. Andy may have been commenting on his experience RECENTLY, and not many months ago. So I invite you to tune in if you care.

@ETN.fm and AH.fm: They are very good alternatives. Fans of Trance have their choices online, and nobody is holding anyone's arm. As it should be. I am just here to state our case so biased people don't misrepresent without listening lately.

Yep, i totally agree. I spent half the night in the trance room watching Bryan Kearney... he went fukn OFF!!! He was meant to do just a 1.5hr set, but was playing back 2 back with Trent McDermott, who was on before him. Kearney's set was awesome! totally made my night. I recon I manage to balance good music with spectacle. I still saw the opening, the countdown, some floats and dancers and caught Marco V & Tydi... and missed most of the shite electro-house-club music

Overall an awesome night, great spectacle, probably one of the best new years I've had and one of the largest and most well organised productions I've seen, but due to the style of main room music it falls short of "best show ever" for me.

Yes that was really the main reason that I don't rate this the best event of the year. Everything else about it was spot on but house music just didn't fit.

It's like finally bringing a dead hot chick back to your room. I'm talking the sexiest chick here ever. Flat stomach, nice breasts, slight tan, brunette, gorgeous smile, bright blue eyes.

So you finally get a moment alone, you kiss a little bit and get a boner even then, that's how attractive she is. Then you start undressing, you undress yourself then begin on her. Her tits are perfect, shaped by God himself.

You get down to the bottom half, ready to see her private area those gates of joy, but there's nothing. No vagina. She doesn't have one. Then you find out she doesn't do head or anal so you're fucked. Well, you're not fucked.

That's what sensation was like for me. Looks were awesome, but it didn't put out.
